Making a list, checking it twice

With over 6 billion people on his notti-or-nice list, no wonder he needs a laptop :o)

KKB [5]

... and the complimentary bizzare shot of the day, taken from inside my car while waiting for the lights to change. Haven't bothered to photoshop out the reflection yet, and maybe I never will be =p

KKB [1]

Someone from my company organized a hike to KKB (Kota Kubu Baru) near Rawang on Monday, and there were some amazing flora there. This cute pink fungus is one of them.

Does anyone have any idea what it's called?

A man selling steamed peanuts pushing his stall against traffic in Jonker Street during the day. Mmmm... steamed peanuts...

Trishaw. I took this with a lower shutter speed with minimum aperture so that I could still zoom in when the shutter was open, which made this a bit more interesting than it would've been =)

All the small things [2]

A hawker couple. The husband peddles on to their next destination while his wife sits crouched behind, come rain or shine...

All the small things [1]

Among the little things that make our society tick which go unnoticed (unless it stops happening or appears during the day), the garbage truck would be on top of the list. In fact, why the hell must the ones in KL/PJ come during the day?!??

Jonker street[5]

A dude getting a roadside tattoo, I think, while others crowd around and watch. Still trying to figure out whether it's a real permanent tattoo, or just a temporary one, like a henna. Any ideas?

Jonker street[4]

Sundry seller waiting for some business to come by. Apparently it rained really hard before we got here.

Jonker street[1]

So I was in Melaka last weekend for my company's team building thingy, after which we were free to roam the streets of melacca. There was some hand holding and raft building, but thankfully no songs :P

We went to Jonker Street at night, where I took this photo of this old man nodding off in front of his paintings. There were actually two shots: one with flash and the other without; and this is obviously the one without. I like this one more cuz the fluoroscent lights give him more focus, unlike this pic over here.

Photoshop magic [1]

Been experimenting with Photoshop CS2 following instructions from this site, using a couple of my old photos... Nothing complex, really. Tell me what you think? Posted by Picasa

Timeout

Just realised that I've not posted this picture yet. It was taken a couple months back at Plaza Damas or whatever it's called, where they were trying to have a Sunday market... Keyword here is "trying". I think people got fed up and stopped because I was there again two weeks ago and it was no more... Or maybe it could've been due to puasa month.

Fun fair [5]

catch the rubber ducky~! The fair will be in 1Utama for the next month or so, up to the 20th.

Fun fair [4]

Fun fairs are the best place to experiment with long exposure shots, mainly cuz everything has such bright colorful lights on it. This one reminds me of the witch's house in Hansen and Gretel :P

Fun fair [3]

I took this shot of the spinning machine full of lights (god knows what it's called) through the fence. I didn't think much of this shot back then, but now I think the triangular bars gives it a weird sci-fi feel. What's your take?

yarrrr!!! I'm a mean wheel! who dares to ride me?!??

Fun fair [1]

Managed to get the timing right for this long exposure shot for the ferris wheel to turn. It's quite annoying since it only moved 20 seconds every 5 minutes because the workers were busy drying up every carriage.
