What I particularly found interesting with this picture was the simplicity of the setup - just some leaves slotted in a crack to divert the flow of water - which I would have never thought of at that time. Sad to say, this newfound knowledge did not aid in my survival in the mountains, as there's tap water (diverted from nearby streams) in all the lodges we've been to.
