In my attempt to take an interesting shot of this orchid, I came up with this one. At first I liked it because of the vast space on the left, another look made me realise that it roughly conforms to the golden mean (although I didn't properly measure).

was thinking of whether I should photoshop away the specks of dirt and also make the orchid whiter, but I decided against it.... now I'm still unsure =p

i just read about the golden ratio in a book i bought ages ago. I think your picture does conform to that ratio (though I didnt measure) but it looks like it does fit into that rule.
You should do what you can to make your picture looks better - I say photoshop it!
